Tourists visiting Cusco's Plaza de Armas

Cusco City Tour

Half day

Description

A perfect day to explore the history of Cusco includes the archaeological complexes of Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay, as well as the famous Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun). To enter most of these sites, you will need the General Tourist Ticket (BTG). Please note that this ticket does not cover access to the Cathedral or Koricancha, for which you will need to purchase separate tickets.

Cusco, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, was the heart of the Inca Empire and remains one of the most visited cities in Peru. Its glorious past is palpable in every corner. Here you will see original Inca walls, colonial churches built on top of Inca palaces, and legendary roads that will transport you to another era. This rich history and diversity of traditions are reflected in its architecture, a perfect blend of Inca and colonial styles.
