Itinerary

This half-day South Valley of Cusco tour can be done in the morning or in the afternoon, covering the most relevant sites along the route:

• Pick-up and Travel to the South Valley: Departure from Cusco (approx. 8:30 AM or 1:30 PM). Travel by tourist transport to the south.
• Tipón: Visit Tipón, an impressive Inca agricultural center with finely constructed terraces and a sophisticated irrigation system still in operation.
• Pikillaqta: Exploration of Pikillaqta, a pre-Inca Wari citadel, with its stone and adobe structures dating from before the Inca Empire.
• Andahuaylillas: Tour of the town of Andahuaylillas and visit its famous church of San Pedro Apóstol, known as the "Sistine Chapel of America" for its impressive frescoes and Baroque decoration.
• Return to Cusco: Journey back to Cusco city, with drop-off near the Plaza de Armas.
