Itinerary

This full-day Machu Picchu tour is an intensive experience covering major transfers and the visit to the citadel:

• Hotel Pick-up and Transfer to Train Station: Very early in the morning (approx. 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM), we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to transfer you to Ollantaytambo or Poroy train station.
• Train Journey to Aguas Calientes: Enjoy a picturesque train ride through the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), the base town for the citadel.
• Bus to Machu Picchu: From Aguas Calientes, we will take a panoramic bus that will take us on a 25-minute ascent to the entrance of the Machu Picchu citadel.
• Guided Tour of Machu Picchu: We will have a guided tour of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours through the most important points of the citadel, including the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, the Main Plaza, among others.
• Free Time in Machu Picchu: You will have some free time to explore on your own, take photos, and absorb the energy of the place (according to entrance ticket regulations).
• Return to Aguas Calientes and Lunch: We will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch (not included) and explore the town.
• Return Train Journey and Transfer to Cusco: We will board the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy station, where our transport will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Approximate arrival between 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

• Hotel pick-up from your hotel in Cusco.
• Tourist transport from Cusco to the train station (round trip).
• Round-trip train ticket (Expedition or Voyager, depending on availability and preference).
• Round-trip bus ticket from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.
• Professional bilingual guide (Spanish/English) for the tour in Machu Picchu.
• Assistance and coordination throughout the tour.

Does not Include:

• Entrance ticket to the Machu Picchu citadel (essential to book in advance).
• Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and beverages.
• Tips for guide and driver.
• Personal expenses and souvenirs.
• Entrance fees to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (if you wish to add them, they must be booked well in advance and incur an additional cost).

Recommendations (What to bring?):

• Original passport and student card (ISIC) if used for ticket purchase.
• Small backpack with essentials (max. 5 kg on the train).
• Comfortable and light clothing for walking, as well as a warm jacket for morning and evening.
• Waterproof jacket or rain poncho (especially during rainy season).
• Comfortable walking shoes.
• Water, energy snacks.
• Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat/cap.
• Insect repellent.
• Camera with extra batteries.
• Cash (Peruvian soles and/or USD) for personal expenses.
